Level 1 Support
Collaborating agencies and partners are responsible for providing the first level of technical support to their respective users. Visit the Collaborators page if you are unsure who your agency contact person is.
Two help systems are included with Prometheus and are often useful in answering technical questions. Both systems can be accessed through the Help menu.
- Beginner's Tutorial: Easy-to-follow instructions teach new users how to create a fire growth model project and run a basic simulation. The tutorial includes screenshots and video demonstrations.
- Prometheus Help: A compiled HTML version of the User Manual. The help file is context-senstive and contains useful tips and suggestions.
Level 2 Support
The second level of user support is provided by Alberta Environment and Sustainable Resource Development. Send general inquiries related to Prometheus installation, development, and COM programming to Prometheus.Lvl2@gov.ab.ca. Level 2 support is not intended to handle fire behaviour questions or software issues. Please use the Report An Issue form for Prometheus bug reporting.
